SpringHouse is a century-old farmhouse in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. “Winter” in the title refers to the season of my life, but also–winter is beautiful! I am a teacher, writer, gardener, artist, and lifelong pagan. The stories here will be sometimes narrative, sometimes instructional, sometimes reflective, and all of them involve (as my tagline suggests) earthcraft, herbcraft, witchcraft, and wordcraft–all the creative Arts. I am content to write this for myself, as a record of my days here, but welcome comments and questions and hope to draw your stories in with my own. We are stronger as a circle.
